Pumpkin Carving Too
I always want to be included and part of the action, but this time I didn't necessarily want to participate in scooping out the inside of the pumpkin. As you can see from the look on my face, I was not so sure about touching the goopy-slimey insides and seeds. Maybe I'll try again next year.

PJ Play
My sister, B (as I call her), is always coming up with fun games for us to play. I don't always understand the rules, but I am getting pretty good at catching the ball and bouncing it back. *P.S. I am totally aware my PJ's don't match, must be time for laundry.*
Pigtail Princess
It's not often that I am willing to sit still long enough to have my hair done, but this particular day I was in a good and patient mood, so Mom was able to get not one but two pony tails in my hair. The result...total cuteness!

Night, Night
So lately I am never really ready for bed, as my beloved pacifier aka binkey as been stolen from me under the rouse of weaning me off of it. Although sometimes I love to curl up with my blanket, and say, "Night, Night" of course when it comes time for real thing, I am usually not quite this smiley and adorable.
Backyard Elf
I spy with my little eye...a cute little elf. I had so much fun wearing this sweater (a sister hand-me-down), I was running all around and insisted the hood always be up, because seriously how cute is it?!
Hats, Hats, I love Hats!
As it has been mentioned before, I love hats. Sometimes I like to get a bit creative and wear "hats" that are usually used for other purposes. Such as a beautiful, pink, flower bag...don't laugh, I bet you'll see that look on all the runways Spring 2013.
Last Days of Summer
Up until this point I have never been one for the swings, they kind of terrified me, I only lasted about two full swing rotations before I was ready to be taken out. Maybe it was thought that summer had slipped by and today may be the last day for a while that I would be able to go to the park, but I loved the swings. This time I didn't want to get out.

Beach
Imagine a sandbox that goes on forever. I've been there, people! It's called a beach. And it doesn't even matter if you throw sand out of it, because it's ALL sand, baby. Doesn't even need a lid. Treasures everywhere, you just got to dig!
Ocean Playground
I had lots of fun in Westport! It was a lot cooler there than we'd been used to in the weeks and days leading up to our trip, so it was weird wearing a coat outside, but I didn't mind. The playground outside the hotel was a blast. I may not have Bailey's level of playgrounding talent, but I make up for it in courage. I try things I probably shouldn't yet, like this whirly-pole thing. Easy up, but a little scary going back down. Thanks for the assist, Daddy.
Stylin' School Hair
Okay, so a few weeks ago, Bailey was making a big deal out of getting ready. Something about Kindergarten. I decided I should get ready too, so I grabbed the brush to style my hair. Later, I thought I should pose by the door for pictures too, though my hair wasn't quite done yet.
Hippie Chick.
Like my tie-die dress? Me too. It's a hand-me-down, like lots of my clothes, but I have been a big fan of the dresses this summer in the heat.
Rockin' the Hat.
I like hats. Unlike my sister, who never really kept her hats on ever, I wear them whenever possible. I wore a hat outside this summer when the sun was really shining, and I love to wear hats for dress-up whenever I find them. Here I am wearing one of Bailey's old hats. I put it on myself, and cleverly found exactly the cutest possible way to wear it myself.

Elephant Ear Yumminess
While Bailey was riding the fair rides, I kept pointing at them and saying, "please," but I don't think Mom or Dad understood because I never got to go on any rides. I was a bit upset, but I recovered quickly when Grandma shared some of her Elephant ear with me. Yummy goodness equals happy girl.
Strolling through the Barns
This was my first trip to the Labor day Ellensburg rodeo and fair, and I was able to take in all the farm animals from the comfortable seat of my stroller.

Zoo Time
(Side note: Mom forgot to publish this in August -- Oops!) I am one lucky girl to get to visit two different zoo's in one summer. First, I went to the Portland zoo in June with Daddy on his school field trip and then to the Tacoma Pointe Defiance zoo. I had a lot fun, so much that I was completely worn out and just ready to be held and snuggled. Lucky for me my Grandma Debbie's cousin Dan was willing to help.

Time for a Haircut
My hair just keeps getting longer and longer, and because I love to pull any hairband or clip used, out -- it was time for a haircut. So off to the Salon we went to see Rocio, who also cuts Mom and Bailey's hair. I was a little squirmy and very curious about everything that she was doing, but she was patient and I stepped out looking fabulous.

The Return of the Stork
5:00am on the 9th of December, Ryan and Lindsey's alarm went off, rousing them from a mostly restless period of sleep and non-sleep. It was time to get up and go to the Family Birth Center of the hospital again. This time around the stork had a scheduled landing time and place, so Ryan and Lindsey had looked forward to this particular day for many weeks and months prior. Leaving their 3-year-old daughter, Bailey, in the capable hands of her Grandpa Ed, Grandma Debbie, Grandma Lynnette, and Aunt Avery, they headed to the hospital and were checked into their room, this time #150 (just three doors down from where little Bailey was when she was first born).
Their first nurse, Lindsay, helped prepare Lindsey and Ryan with ID bracelets, and gowns and scrubs, then she put the IV in Lindsey's arm and everything went smooth as you please. The doctor came to talk to Lindsey, and then they just had to wait a few moments to make sure the OR was available. After that, they started walking there, but suddenly a nurse told them to head back to the room, because there was another mommy-to-be that might need the OR in a few minutes, just in case. Back to the room they all went where they waited about fifteen more minutes and then they began the walk again.
Lindsey was walked into the OR, and Ryan again had to wait for a bit outside. This time he was more excited than scared, and it seemed like the wait before he could go in was much, much shorter than the last time.
In he went and sat by Lindsey's left shoulder. There were sounds, there were smells, there was motion, and after what seemed like a small trickle of flitting little moments, the doctor said, "It's time to see baby come out," so Ryan peeked around the curtain.
This time, there was a very tall doctor in the way, so he didn't get to see little baby poking out or being pulled out, but a nurse brought her right around RIGHT after she came out, and she was very vocal about her displeasure.
Baby got cleaned, weighed, and measured, and Ryan asked Lindsey if the name they'd planned seemed to fit after they'd both seen her. It did, and minutes later little Reagan Mae Anderson was in her daddy's arms.
She was 7lbs 40z and 19 1/4 inches long. That's just a little bit heavier and longer than her sister was. She came out at 9:02am.
The parents and their new little daughter went to the recovery room for a bit, then went back to their new mommy suite. On the way Daddy signaled to Grandma and Grandpa Bliss that everything was A-Okay, and then the visiting began.
A few minutes later, Grandma Lynnette and Aunt Avery brought the new Big Sister Bailey in to meet her new baby sister Reagan. On the way back to the suite, Ryan told everyone her name, and Bailey said, "Oh, Daddy, it's beautiful!"
Overcome with emotion and overwhelmed by the amount of people in the room (and that Mommy was still in a gurney, not her regular bed) Bailey needed her Daddy to hold her for a bit as she first laid eyes on her little sibling. Later that day, she got to hold her for the first time.
Mommy and Reagan had to stay at the hospital for a couple days longer than they'd hoped, but finally, on Monday the 13th, everyone came home and the new foursome family life began.
